Armenian Sandwich Recipe
Ingredients:
6 tablespoon of non fat mayonnaise
6 tablespoon Dijon mustard
4 ounce. creamed cheese, soft & Neufchatel
2 c. diced cucumber
2 c. diced tomatoes
2 c. diced lettuce
4 tablespoon salt , herbal substitute
4 lg. circle cracker buns, Armenian
Instructions:
Put the cracker in a wet kitchen soak up towel. Use a watering spray to spray water over the cracker. Stop when shiny top cracker. Put a second towel same kind over it and then mound another cracker on top. Haze this one & put 2 wet towels over it.
Take off the wet towels after 10 mins and change the towels’ layers .Return the crackers then, vapor once, Same step after 10 more minutes. Continuously, do the same thing to soften the crackers. The crackers must become flexible and easy to curve.
Mix the first three ingredients in a sink. Layer some cheese combination over the cracker’s middle. Display a chain of cucumbers then the tomato and then the lettuce over the layer and finally add the herbal salt. Revolve tightly the bread and start from the ending part closed to you, same way as you are rolling a sleep mat.
End up by closing the roll with a small amount of cream cheese. Repeat same method for the other cracker . Display the bread rolled , by putting the closure side down on the opposite then, cut into rounded slices of size 2″.
Hold with a toothpick to be safe. Cover the rolls displayed in a platter with a plastic film until serve.
