German Beer-OX Sandwiches Recipe

Ingredients:

24 Hoagie Buns
5 pounds thin grounded beef
2 average cabbage, head sliced
2 standard onion cut into small pieces
2 tablespoon minced garlic
2 tablespoon compacted pepper, red
Dash of pepper
Dash of salt
5 cup shredded cheese, cheddar (elective)

Instructions:

Mix and brown the ground beef with the cabbage and all the spices. Simmer on low temperature while covered for at least 60 mins and stirring frequently. Cut the rolls into slices in length central through.

Scoop out the middle to give it a form of a cup ,then fill with beef mixed. Put on aluminum paper lined cookie sheet and top the 2 parts.

Serve: 5-6 persons
