Lisas’ Hot Italian Meatball Sandwiches Recipe
Ingredients:
2 pound grounded beef, good one
1 pound grounded pork
1 cup cornflakes, crumb
1/2 c milk, evaporate
2 eggs
4 tbsp dry onion flake
2 x 8 ounce Mozarella cheese, block
2 teasp italian vinaigrette
4 c pizza sauce, your choice
12 mozarella cheese, slices
12 sandwich sub
2 x 8 ounce Mozarella cheese, block
Instructions:
Mix the first seven ingredients and make balls of 1 1/2″. Slice cheese into 1/2 inch dice and insert each in one ball. Bake the balls with cheese on non grease tray & cook around 18 to 20 mins. Heat pizza sauce and mix up with balls until warmed.
Remove a V shape from sandwich and set aside for crumbs.Insert 5 to six meatballs into the hole and add pizza sauce. Then add 1/2 wedge of cheese to cover the sub. Broil until sparkiling. Takes 2 to 3 mins.
