Mile High Shredded Beef Sandwich Recipe
Ingredients:
3 pound chuck roasted or rounded beefsteak
vegetable oil
1 c onions, chops
1/2 c celery chops
2 c beef soup OR bouillabaisse
Marinade:
1 1/2 c beef soup , reserve from roast*
1 garlic, mince clove
1 teasp salt to taste
3/4 teasp salt to taste
4 tbps browned sugar
2 tbps vinegar
1 teasp dried mustard
1/2 teasp powdered chili
3 sauce of tabasco, drops
1 bay leaf
1/4 teasp paprika to taste
1/4 teasp garlic powdered
1 teasp sauce , worcestershire
potato roll or bun
Mix all and boil
Instructions:
Cook meat in heated oil until brown. Then, Add onion & celery. Remove from heat. Mix meat with vegetable & soup or bouillabaisse and cook in a cooking pot in a Dutch Oven.
Cover the pot and boil till the meat tenders, takes about 3 to 4 hours. Set to cool.
Slice the meat into shreds and add the drained vegetables.
tTake the reserved soup and remove all grease and discard.
