Stronganoff Steak Sandwich Recipe
Ingredients for 6 sandwiches:
3/4 cup beer
1/3 cup oil, for cooking
1 teaspoon salt to taste
1 qrt teaspoon garlic, powdered
1 qrt teaspoon pepper to taste
1 kg of 1″ thickness flank meat, steak
2 tablespoon of butter OR
2 tablespoon of margarine
1/2 teaspoon of paprika to taste
4 cup onion, slices
12 French toast bread, slices
1 cup of dairy cream, warm & sour
1/2 teaspoon horseradish, ready to eat
Step by Step Instructions:
Mix the first five ingredients in a lage bowl. Place meat in the mixture, covered and set to chill all night. Then, get the meat drained. Cook both sides in broiler about 3″ far from flame about 6 minutes until juicy or lightly cooked.
Melt the butter/ margarine in a large pan then, add paprika, salt to taste.Then, incorporate the onion slices and stir until onions tenderised. Make sure to not brown the onions and set aside the mixture.
Cut the steak diagonally , from corner to corner , into small pieces.
Display some meat pieces on each sandwich, add then, add onion slices over the meat. Then, add cream mixed with horseradish and finally serve with some paprika sprinkled on the sandwich to give a better taste
