Turkey Waldorf Sandwich Recipe
Ingredients:
1 cup turkey sliced into 1/2″cubes, ready to eat, trim, and deboned , size 1/2″
1/2 cup celery, cleaned, cubes
1 sm. apple, clean,red, diced
2 tablespoon skinned walnuts, cubes
1 tablespoon of non fat mayonnaise / vinaigrette
1 tablespoon of reduced calorie yogurt
Dash of nutmeg
Dash of cinnamon to taste
4 lettuce, leaf
8 slim raisin bread, slice
Instructions:
Mix the first eight ingredients and cover in standard recipient. To merge the flavors, set to chill for a minimum of 60 minutes or may be all night.
Display on each sandwich, 1 lettuce leaf ,then 3 qrt cup of the chilled combination. Cover with the other sandwich
Same step for the combination left over and makes four servings
